It was 1:35 AM on December 17, 2013. I was all of a sudden awoken from sleep by the noises of doorbell ringing, loud banging on my front door and my barking dog alarm going off hugely (Security Innovation's ED-55 Rex Plus II Electronic Watchdog Alarm, bought from Amazon.) Luckily, I have a steel security front door that can not be kicked in. The entire episode was captured by my Dropcam security video camera (also from Amazon.) I think the 2 men outside said something like "need some help" however I could not understand them extremely well. I think it was a guise for a tried home-invasion robbery as I reside in an inhabited area and the closest 24-hour gas station is just an easy 5-minute leave. Naturally I wasn't going to open the door for anyone and had a weapon in my hand, which I explained to them that I was ready to utilize. Luckily, the potential robbers repelled after being warded off without more incidence. I was certainly ready to safeguard myself with deadly force had they in some way acquired entry into your home. If anyone enjoying this video can construct out what the people in fact stated, please remark below. Thanks.
I hope this video will prove academic for homeowners, knowing how the bad men run.
